This is the text each tuition centre's Acadence site shows to its users. On a centre's site, the centre's registered name and contact details appear where this page says "your tuition centre".

AI marking of practice

Version 2026-10-27.

In short: photos of your practice working (not your name) go to an AI service, which marks it straight away. No tutor checks it first, so it can be wrong, and it never goes into your gradebook. You can say no, or change your mind later on your profile page.

Practice is a self-check tool. Your centre chose to switch it on for your class. The AI's practice marks are not marks given by Acadence or by your tutor; they are hints to help you check your own working.

This is optional and separate from AI marking of your worksheets. If you are 13 or older, you can agree for yourself. If you are under 13, your parent or guardian must agree for you. While the centre uses OpenAI, your parent's or guardian's agreement (as in the AI marking consent) is needed as well. With this agreement the centre may use an AI service to check the working you do in Practice.

Changing your mind

You, or your parent or guardian if they agreed for you, can withdraw this consent at any time on your profile page under Policies and agreements. Your practice is then checked by code and by you, as before. Nothing else changes.
